Introduction

Nicodemus, the main antagonist of the comic, is a dragon and the self-proclaimed King of Dreamland. Alex first encountered him at the age of 12, when he had drawn the sword from the stone seat inside the tomb of Dreamland's monarchs, and the dragon had developed an immediate hatred for Alex when the sentient sword had slashed the dragon's eye.
