Sacred Stream
Description
The sacred stream fountains up out of the great tree of Ashendel and forms a river on the top level.1 It then pours over the side turning into a set of waterfalls as it thunders to the ground before flowing off towards the ocean.
Inhabitants
Located on the grounds around the elven castle, the sacred stream has no permanent inhabitants, but many visitors. Alex, Kiwi, Paddington, and reluctantly Nastajia swim in it as children.
History
It is unknown how the tree of Ashendel came to be with this stream climbing up to the top so that it could run down the side in a series of waterfalls. However, for many years it has been present, perhaps keeping the tree alive and allowing it to grow to such great height.
